I have experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and automotive embedded systems. My on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate strategic test planning and risk management abilities. Throughout the years I developed both professional skills and hands-on ones in testing tools, development tools, and programming languages. I have never been in my comfort zone for long, and that allowed me to adapt fast and learn new stuff in a timely fashion. I enjoy reading, developing, and building robust automation frameworks. I know how to tackle my lack of knowledge when moving to a new area and how to transfer it to others easily. I possess good explanation and demonstration techniques when presenting a new technology to others.

I believe in “Actions speak louder than words” and I don’t speak till I am 100% sure of what is being said. I maintain healthy and unbiased relations with my peers, supervisors, and team members I lead.

What are my weaknesses?

Because I am a good listener and don’t speak much; people may perceive that as a lack of interest sometimes; however on the contrary I listen attentively to digest all the information taken first before coming to a conclusion on what else needs to be shared. I may take action sometimes in case of a problem on my own before involving other bodies because I am proactive and very responsive in emergencies. My first priority is my family, so I expect my workplace to maintain a work-life balance for employees, any extra time I spend at work should be appreciated.

How do I handle stress and pressure?

Because I am organized, responsive, and proactive I seldom find myself under pressure or stress. In case that happened for external reasons, I manage to do my job as accurately and as fast as I can in the given time; outside the work environment, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and doing regular physical exercise to release the stress and clear my mind and keep myself charged for further challenges. I can stay for extra hours for some days if I have to if that helps and is appreciated.

How do I describe the workplace where I will be most happy and productive?

I am looking forward to working in a place where everyone is allowed to play fair, and competition is kept under control. I am looking for a strong technical role where I am allowed to show the skills that I earned over the years, aid younger engineers, and learn from my peers. I am looking for a place that promotes the vitality of diversity and equality between all employees so that I will be allowed to progress in my career without worrying about cultural differences between me and my colleagues. An appreciative and transparent place will be my ideal work environment to thrive.

What are my plans for the future?

I plan to stay in the next role for as long as it takes to use my experience, gain new skills, and help build projects and teams. I still feel that I haven’t gotten to my peak performance yet, I need to be in a position where I can reach that point. After that, I may continue in a more rewarding technical role or move to a managerial role.
